Raiding Code of Conduct
Behaviour(Important!)
Everyone is expected to follow the raid leader’s decision, regarding Rekcinad, Eggy, Pillowofsoft, Seiunchin or any other person who is leading the official raid due to circumstances.
Respect other people in the raid. Try to see out of someone else’s view before acting and/or speaking what you think. Don’t make any rash actions without thinking.
If someone gets an item and you are not happy with that, please do NOT discuss this during the raid. Save this for afterwards and ask the raid leader to clear up the matter or take the discussions to the forums in a friendly way. (No flaming!)
Suggestions are always welcome. However, when the raid leader explains, be silent and listen to what he has to say. If you feel he is mistaking, make him aware of that after his speech to avoid interruptions.
Raid Attendance
Leaving a raid because a Battle Ground opened or because someone outside the guild needs your help is not appreciated. This will be taken into account the next time we have more than 40 people wanting to join a raid. However, not joining a raid because you don’t feel too well or something similar is no problem at all.
If you signed up for a raid and are not coming after all, cancel your application or, if the signup is closed, inform the raid leader of this by sending him an in-game whisper or mail.
When you are certain or almost certain you can’t stay for the whole duration of the raid, please state this in your application. If you have an estimate of your departing, please inform us of this. This also goes for not being on time. Try to give an indication of when you are expecting to be available.
Please sign up for raids you know you are attending. This gives an estimate of the number of people who will likely be coming. It improves the convenience of setting up raids.
Warning: If you choose to not sign up and we have 25+ people, invites will be handed out to those that signed up.
Necessary Preparations
Please be prepared for every raid. This means to bring the items needed for certain events. Don’t nag others for it right before a fight, it is your own responsibility. Of course asking others to make the items for you if you can’t do that yourself is appreciated as long as it happens before the raid.
Bring enough money for repairs(crucial!). If you do not have enough, try grinding Scarlet Monastery or Tyr’s Hand for one or two hours. It is not hard to gain some money there to afford your expenses. From most bosses we get money. Try not to spend this money on stuff that has nothing to do with the raid. It is nice for backing up your repairs and potion threshold. If you do spend this money on random things and don’t have the money to repair during a raid, then don’t make a fuss about it when others don’t give you money for this. It is everyone’s own responsibility.
Reagents!: It is crucial for every class to bring enough reagents. This goes for everyone, not only the Class-leader. Bring your own reagents! (This can’t be emphasized too much).
Everyone is expected to bring the necessary consumables, flasks and potions to the raid. If you show up unprepared you face the risk of being replaced by someone that did take the effort to bring his gear. Of couse everyone forgets something from time to time, therefore if you show up without the needed consumables you'll first be asked to go get them from the nearest capital before being replaced.
Loot Distribution
When loot is being distributed, keep the raid chat clean. We don’t want mistakes in the loot hand-out due to chat spamming and missing bids. Of course it is allowed to congratulate the winner, but please save the "grats" for after the loot is actually given to the concerning person to avoid misunderstandings.
As soon as the item with it’s value is posted in the raid channel, it means that bidding is opened. When all bids are accounted for, the raid leader will post the item and the player name who wins the item. For specific EPGP details, see the DKP Rules section on this webpage.
When nobody bids on an item, the item will be disenchanted by an enchanter. The void crystals will be stored by Lita who can be nagged for them, as long as it is dosed. You can request these crystals from the guild bank. Again, for exact details, see the DKP Rules section on this webpage. However, BoE epic items that noone needs will be send to the Guild Bank without disenchanting them. It is allowed to bid on BoE items for one of your alts as long as these are Squished and have reached level 70.
Be happy for your fellow guildies to receive loot, as they would be happy for you to receive any. Remember that friendship and fun are the nr.1 priorities in the raid, NOT the loot.
