TeamSpeak 2
Here you can find all the info you need to setup TeamSpeak2.
Team Speak 2 is a VoIP(Voice over IP) communication program, used for many gaming needs. You specify a server adress and password to join a specific "clan server". On this clan server you can most probably select one of the many channels, depending on the server. On our own server, there is a main lobby(which every server has) and a seperate channel for every Instance.
Download/installation info
To download Team Speak 2, you can visit www.goteamspeak.com and click on downloads. Now select the 2.0.32.60 version and click on a mirror site to download from. After you have done this, install Team Speak 2 on your computer.
Options info
When you are done with installing Team Speak 2, you first have to edit a few settings. First of all, and the most important thing, is to enable "Push to Talk Key". If you don't enable this, everyone in your channel will get a horrible echo whenever someone is talking. To do this, go to "Settings", "Sound Input/Output Settings" and then enable "Push to Talk". When you have done this you can assign a key that you have to hold if you want to talk.
With the "Output Volume bar" you can adjust the volume of incoming voice chat(i.e. other people's brablings).
Server info
Now you have configured Team Speak 2 properly, you can finally join the Squishy Clan Server. Wahey! In order to access our server, go to "Connection" and click on "Connect". This will open the following window:
Now click with your right mouse button on server and select "Add Server". Now you can give your sever a name(Squishy Server for instance). Click on the server and fill in the blanks. This image shows how it has to look like when the server info has been filled in correctly:
Server Adress: sjoko.no-ip.info
Nickname: *fill in a nickname you wish to use, preferably your ingame character name*
Server Password: That's classified information!
